The village tried out something new for Halloween 2025 and did the traditional hot dog and brat dinner at the Kent Holton Pavilion. NCE lent support in providing decor, organizing trick or treat stations and having the inaugural "Trick or Treat Bingo" and Trick or Treat Map. Village businesses and groups were asked to participate with handing out candy and stickers during trick or treat. Kids collected the stickers and were entered into a drawing based on how many BINGO rows they had completed. NCE also encouraged other businesses, groups and individuals to set up trick or treat trunks or golf carts.
