In the early winter of 2024 a group of Village of Northport and Leelanau Township residents got together with the purpose of bringing back the popular tradition of Winter Carnival.  After a number of years of it not happening, we committed ourselves to providing this experience to our community once again.  With around the clock work and weekly meetings at The Mitten's Locals Night, the event was pulled off and a huge success!  

After gathering the momentum, some of the members got together and organized a community potluck and Easter Egg Hunt, again, a good time was had by all.  

As we were planning to add some festivities to Halloween in the Village, we decided to "make it official" and create a nonprofit organization committed to community engagement and recreation.
